I had a leak on mine in the front right under the bolt that holds the two parts of the cylinder together (next to the exhaust).  I kept putting off working on it thinking it was a plug. It turns out it was that nut.  Tightening the nut stopped the leak and increased my mpg by 5%. That and a new air filter got me back to 50 MPG.

about 3 fins below your leak is where the head parts from the jug.  If the leak was below those fins, it would be a head gasket leak.
where yours is, is either the infamous head plug leak or a leaky head cover seal.  either case, fix it with some high temp rtv and a days worth of work.

The link provided by Verslagen should have all the information/pics you need to remove the head cover and seal up the head plug and/or head cover.

I highly recommend getting a piece of cardboard, taping an image of the head cover to it (I had to enlarge the image I found - try to make it fill the page when printing) then sticking the bolts through the cardboard after removing them.  Makes it SO much easier to reassemble.

If you find that the leak is between the cylinder and head, be forewarned that you have to remove the engine from the frame to pull the cylinder head.

& one bolt goes in the head cover upside down before its installed, or it dont go in.
One goes in up top, center before you put it on, or it wont go in eiother.

If you let the clutch cable hanger hang down when the side cover goes on, youll wish you hadnt,.
