Tank Candy Part Duex
06/26/12 at 13:22:35

Since all my new found friends here were looking out for my best interest and talked me out of doing something stupid.
I appreciate it. I'm NOT being sarcastic. My wife says it's my Apache blood that gives me my fighting spirit.

Here is my second design. No colors yet any suggestions?

I like it...
Now, you've got me thinkin'...

Just offered as possible ideas...
What about wings on both sides of the"S"..?...
... or,.. since it's a "Savage",.. What about an Indian style headdress instead of wings?...
Like the gold a lot... the wings have a perfect shape...

PS... how big is it going to be?...
Are you drawing these in PhotoShop?...
Where do you get these things printed?...
I'm thinkin' of makin' one, too... Grin...

I know I want a matte paint job. So far I'm leaning towards a matte charcoal grey or matte cream color.

"Indian style headdress" I like it let me see what I can do.

"how big is it going to be?" Once I finalize the design I'm going to print out different sizes, cut them out, then tape them to the side of the tank to see what size looks best.

"Are you drawing these in PhotoShop?" I'm using Illustrator to draw Photoshop to color.

"Where do you get these things printed?" My wife works at a sign shop and they have high impact vinyl the kind they use for race cars and vehicle wraps. I'll get them printed there for a discount aka free Wink

Serowbot,

Man I'll design and get printed for free anything you want. Cook you up a steak and serve you beer if you could help me install my BCB kit when it arrives.  THAT"S NO JOKE.

No  pressure but think about it. I could use someone to show me how to work on bikes who knows what they are doing. I'll be winging it on my own when I try the install. I plan on recording the installation to put up on Youtube.

Note, it doesn't have to be native American Indian.   For instance, it could be a caveman holding a club with the word "Savage" in the background.   Or maybe even something similar to the old Geico "So easy a caveman can do it" guy's head with the rugged hair style and all.   However, I do admit, I like the S designs.
