How to Properly Measure for new Bars

I was wondering what the best way would be to properly measure on my scoot for me to get a new set of bars.  I'm thinking I could use some alittle taller, pulled back and maybe alittle wider, but as I stated I'm not sure how I would measure so I could order the best size from the get go.

Get on it, close your eyes, put your arms out where you want them, open up & see, Measure to there.

Then using JOGs method, swing a leg over and sit side saddle on the seat.   Again, hold your arms straight out, hands open, and kinda move them up and down curvy fashion.   That will be the nice looking lady who will approach to compliment your bike when it's done.
