may be problem is not in carb. chek the vacuum line of your carb and petcock. if it's ok, check the needle valve in carb.

Guys, I am not clear with the jet advice. There has only one jet(kind a pin) for the throttle and I see only one more screw jet on the side except the idle. I am really virgin about this problems  Smiley. Which one I have to change and how to find it. The summer is over guys, I like to ride the bike. :'(

you have to pull the bowl off the carb, to re-jet it.  The jets are on the inside of the carb.

If this is not a stock carb, you really need to say so or you're going to get the wrong advise.

Here is a pic of a VM style carb.  Part number 21 is the pilot jet and part number 36 is the main jet.  Those will be the primary ones you will be changing for tuning.

hello, so i posted earlier on the week about getting help on how to install new VM36 carb. I have few issues.
1- My throttle cable would not fit in the new carb. what kind of throttle cable do i need.
2- the new carb i got is complete do i have to change jets or anything.(I thought its made for the bike?)
I have been searching on this site and cannot find any post to help me with the issue for throttle cable.
Cheers

Dude, I have all of the parts you need for converting the VM carb to work on your bike.
I have been putting together complete carb kits for many years and have done the work to gather the correct parts to make it work.
Send me a direct email to savage.s40@gmail.com

Lancer, since you're keen to give advice, how about you tell me what jets I should try on my Ryca.  With the VM36 installed as you mailed it to me, it idles, but, as soon as I crack the throttle it dies.  I can very sloooowly rev it up, but, if I crack it, she dies.  I guess I'm going to have to pull it apart and see what jets are in it since you don't know what you sent to me.
