It does have some heavy scratches on the left side, was on the VN800B I crashed in 2008. You could always buy a sheet of acrylic/Lexan and use this as a pattern... The material is cheap cheap cheap... And can be shaped with a heat gun and a leather covered thigh.

That might be a possibility I'll keep it in mind.

Was just looking at a few places and found some sub $200 ones but I was kinda wondering what others thought of the brand since most here recommend the Memphis Shades. What I'm currently looking at is the Slip Streamer brand. They have some nice looking ones for good pricing that I think I can fit into my budget, even without the sales of my stock parts that will start coming off this weekend.

rfw what seat is that on your bike? It sure looks more comfy that the stocker on my yellow 1996!

That would be a Corbin Leather Seat. Yes it is much much more comfy then the stocker.

Much better than you would expect from the price. When I was in the biz we sold tons of their shields, only ever had to replace one that had been mispackaged. Make sure you specify the shield is for a bike with 1" bars, the default hardware is 7/8" on about 70% of the models they make.
