Saddlebags- Hmm. what's in the garage?

I've been wanting some small saddlebags to carry lunch and extra gloves, maybe hold my zip out jacket liner. It's not unusual to have 40+ degree temp changes from morning to afternoon here in Montana. Since I'm a cheap SOB even $130 seemed too much. Then I remembered the Wolfman tank panniers I had for my now departed dirt bike. There are small loops on each side of the bag and I could use the existing straps to attach to the turn signals and upper shock mount plus over the seat straps to support them. Since I won't be carrying anything heavier I think they will do just fine. Cost = $0.

Reply #3 - 06/04/12 at 13:31:23 They are just heavy fabric but since they are tied into the turn signals and shock mount I don't think they will swing in enough to hit the tire. I put them on and thought they looked like they were made for this app.
