I should be able to order the cam this weekend , also wondering if the hard krome muffler would be a better choice than the gp shorty I have now

Pistons: 95, 96 & 97mm
Stock head gasket is fine; there use to be someone on eBay that sold copper gaskets in assorted sizes but have not seen him for a while
You can find gasket sets on eBay for decent prices
The Hard Krome is quality built but even with the baffle it is a high flow muffler and is loud but is of a good size.  Ideally, for good running, the inside volume of a muffler should be the same volume as the engine so try to avoid small mufflers and especially straight pipes.

Hello Lancer,

Would you happen to have a 94mm piston?

I would also like to discuss with you how to proceed with an order for a stage 3 cam.

Christmas is coming early this year  Grin

Eddie

Yep, I’ve got some of the 94’s still.
I have just one cam right now that is ready to go, and one I can send to Webcam to be made into a Stage 3, and that is taking 4-5 weeks before it comes back.  First come first served.    They don’t last long.
Piston is $199 and the Stage 3 cam $299, ship. incl.

As noted in the thread on the Camshaft your cam core is required in exchange for the Stage 3 upgrade, which can be sent now or after you pull your engine.  If sent before I ship the Stage 3 to you then no extra charge, but if after then a $100 core deposit is required and that will be refunded upon my receipt of your core.
Extra cores are hard to come by at a reasonable price.  I have a couple that have been out for months, even with the core charge still outstanding on them.  Yea, beats the heck out of me why they don’t send them.

You can PayPal to Savage.s40@gmail.com or I can send an invoice to your email.

Lancer,
Top quality stuff you have my friend!!!
Last year I purchased your JetSet, and the Allen head screw set for my stock carb. I'm sure you deal to to many other people to remember me, but, I have the free flowing Jardine turnout exhaust, raptor petcock, stock engine. Well you and I sent a few emails back and forth, and even a phone call or two! Well man, you know your stuff, you gave some helpful hints, and suggestions on jet sizes etc.
Spot on!!!! 3800 miles this summer to date!!!!
Problem NOW... due to the increase in power, and the age of probably the stock clutch components, I am experiancining a tad bit of clutch slippage!!!Sad I feel it will make it thru this season, but EXPECT an order for clutch plates and spring this winter from me!!!
Keep up the good work Sir, it is a pleasure to have you around !!!👍

I remember you.  My aging mind may have lost a few details along the way though.

About your clutch, I assume you have adjusted it as far as possible already.
Have you checked that little metal rod out on the end of the clutch Pak ?  If that is no longer long enough another longer one should be available.  It seems like there are 3 lengths, and if yours is one of the shorter ones then you can just swap it for a longer one.
Also, it is possible that a set of stronger springs may solve your problems. The clutch plates used are pretty darn durable so unless they measure below specs don’t assume you need to order a set, a clutch Pak is $125.

Yep, how many dozen do you need ? 😁

I have one each of the 95 & 96mm and several of the 94mm stock size Wiseco pistons.
Camshafts and carbs are also available.

Wiseco Pistons.............. $199

Carb kits...................... $399 for basic kit
** UFO, DAJ & QFTW extra if desired

Stage 3 Cams............... $299 + $100 refundable deposit for usable core exchange

I can send you an invoice to your email for use of your PayPal account, credit or debit account.  You can process payment when you choose with it.

Michael

I can do that; what email do you want to use ?
Are you sure you want the 96mm instead of the 94mm Wiseco ?
Same benefit of higher compression without having to bore unless your cylinder is gouged.
