Purple haze blanketing the entire sky,... smoke from the New Mexico fires has settled over Tucson...
Last night,... the sun set a deep burnt orange color,.. you could look right at it with the naked eye... big as a basketball... rippling edges, in a pink and orange sky...

Felt like Mars,.... only hotter......

Take pics and show us. I thought it was about that 60s stuff  Hendrix liked so much...

That is a beautiful place where you live. Got to visit there on company money several years ago.  I discovered real quick that "dry heat" comment was a joke. I guess it's dry in an oven too.

Was amazed at how quick a man dehydrates out there. Played golf one day there and it was about 95 or so........never drank so much water on the course in my life.

I can't imagine what it's like trying to keep fluids going ridin the bike.

But absolutely beautiful.

Up here in the north country we are experiencing a few days of fog and rain (not unusual) and using the furnace. Low 40's at night and mid 50's daytime.

Ya know I'm odd in that I love really cold weather in the winter (lots of snow too). When people complain about the near zero cold I simply say yes, but it's a dry cold.
