I had just layed down for a minute to get a little relief for my back when my daughter called from the pasture. Seemed her TRX 300 ATV was slinging oil on her good jeans--the ones she isn't supposed to wear to ride or mow grass or paint. I told her to push it to the hill and coast to the pond by the house. After finding out (I already knew 'cause I'm a dad) she had once again left the oil dipstick unscrewed and this time lost it, I told her those things probably cost $18-20 and she could buy one when she had the money. Next day she coughed up a $20. I got her to look up the Honda place, call for parts and find out if they had it. I enjoyed the 20 mile ride to pick it up and she still gripes about the "price of stuff".   It was actually 21.70 with tax. She actually asked me if she could ride it up to the shop and check the oil after she got there. She quickly realized that was a dumb question and said so. It took over a quart of oil , but I doubt any harm was done. And my daughter learned a lesson.
