My '06 had several leaks.
Head cover by the spark plug - gooped it from the outside with high temp silicone, fixed.
Front upper cylinder to head nut - cleaned stud and nut and put lots of loctite on the stud and fastened the nut, fixed.
Crankcase clutch side cover near the front of the cylinder - After four failed attempts with new gaskets, on the fifth one I put some additional hi temp silicone in that area, fixed.
Head gasket in area of the L125 bolt, due to being stripped by previous owner/shop - Ordered the other L130 bolt that goes next to it and filed the tip to act like a tap and cut it down 5mm deeper in the cylinder and fastened it, fixed
Everything had been bone dry since about a year, now the clutch lever shaft let's oil seep out on higher speed highway runs. I probably just keep wiping it off, unless it gets way worse, because I really don't want to have five more attempts to get the clutch cover sealed correctly AND I really don't wanna see what the tensioner looks
like after verslagen's plunger mod in second Bole and 6,000 miles later. I'm just afraid...I just wanna ride.
