For sale:

This new sleek manual decompression lever is thumb activated and tucks up under the tank out of site. It is cnc machined from aluminum and includes chamfered edges and an ergonomic 15 degree angle for leverage.

This decomp lever attaches exactly where the decompression solenoid attaches to the motor. Nothing needs to be customized other than the removal of the solenoid.

Comes in black but can be left raw aluminum if wanted.
Lock nut provided.

Price is $15.00 + $5.00 shipping

This looks like a neat solution to the problem. Does it get too hot to touch on a warmed up motor on hot starts? One could maybe Plasti Dip the end for insulation and add a bit of color at the same time.

Do you have an email address? I don't have enough posts for a PM, but would like one of these.

Hi, do you know if anyone has bought this to put onto the RYCA?  The foot activated solenoid decomp lever on mine rattles quite loudly due to it hitting the horn which I had re-installed.  I would like to get this if it fits and does the same purpose.

Looks good!  So how does this go?  Engage the lever, start, disengage?  Or does it disengage automatically once the engine is fired?  I'm definitely interested in one...

Edit: Does it work with the chrome head cover on?

yes it does get really hot for restarts at 250-300F head temp I'm not sure how well plastidip would hold up.

Works great though Wink
