Ive got it loose, it just doesn't look like there is any way it is coming out. Any tips?

Yup i did that with the cardboard too. I have a problem with a slim threaded bolt that sticks up in the middle of the head. I cant get the cover over that bolt. its the one that has the lock nut on it.

In place of L70?
must be some work around the PO did, that's not stock.
take the stud out, then you can take the cover off along with the stud.

its in there too good to remove. I may just have to pull the whole engine. I'm already up to my eyeballs in this. The L 70 isnt like the others it was just a lock nut... now its just a stud sticking up, and It must be threaded into the motor but I cant/ dont know how to get it out.
