Carb question

Stripped carb and fitted overhaul kit. Unfortunately I can't remember how the plate goes back. It's the circular one with cutouts that secures the needle to the slide. The slots in the plate only partially cover the holes in the slide. Does anyone know if this correct?

Not correct- the holes have to be completely open. Flip it over.

Thought so. It was one of the fitters in work who fitted it. He wasn't happy with it. Holes are half covered and it does not look right. Thanks. I'll have a wee go myself.
