Drilled baffle audio-both audio in first post (Read 103 times)

Greg Serious Thumper Offline Molon Labe Posts: 1251 Southeast PA, uSA Gender:	Drilled baffle audio-both audio in first post 05/05/12 at 15:14:02 I drilled 4x 5/16" holes in the rear of my muffler. The sound is a little deeper than my recording. And it sounds great under a load! My trouble spot of cruising 35-40mph in 5th gear and attempting to accelerate is gone. Bottom end feels the same. I don't smell gasoline any more.

I found my larger drill and opened the 4 3/8" (or so) holes I made up to 1/2" each. It got deeper. This is kinda like tuning a subwoofer by adjusting the port size. Dave
