Hello all. I just purchased a 1997 savage and am looking to do some custom work to it . My first action is to get rid of those horns and replace with a set of drag bars. I have heard alot of discussion about risers and tank clearance and wanted to know if anyone had any advice. I really want a low straight set with little or no pullback. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Mine were much taller & wider, so I ended up extending wiring, new cables and brake line. As long as you don't go too extreme it's almost plug-n-play (you will have to file off the tab on the stock hand controls though)
