Anybody know a good chrome shop that I can send some parts to? Can be anywhere in the country (US) as long as they are honesty and do good work.

I have had Astro Chrome in CA do a lot of plating for me.  They have always done an excellent job on the chrome on my motorcycles or nickel plating on my banjos.

Here is their website link:

Its not that uncommon to find a plating shop in the industrial section of town,

Look under rechrome bumpers or stop by a body shop & ask them where they get chrome work handled.

Of course, I was in the business back when bumpers existed.

Back in the 80's there were several plating shops in this area.  It as pre EPA and every car had a chrome bumper.  Now those places are all gone around here....and the best I can do locally is a place that will cadmium/zinc plate bolts and screws.  That is why I ship my stuff to a plater in California.

Yea,,  it was in the 80's,, & even then we shipped to El Paso from Odessa to get a bumper fixed, but there were several manufacturers in the area where they did their own plating, but we were shipping bent bumpers to be straightened & rechromed, No one had the presses locally to fix bumpers.
