Does anyone have any ideas to carry a cane/walking stick on my Savage? I am looking for more than some Velcro straps but am having a difficult time coming up anything attractive. Thanks.

Go to a handy-cap supply store- they have stuff to attach canes to wheel chairs. You could probably find something there.

I have a folding cane that I just throw in the saddle bag, Way better than trying to strap it down.

Well, I may need to resort to a folding cane. How well do they hold up when beating on dogs and/or children?

Seems a generic shotgun or rifle scabbard could be mounted some way to carry a cane and if you look around can probably find a style that goes with your bike.or even carry over the shoulder?

Strap it on & wear it like a Ninja sword across your back?
That way, if ya get bucked off,, itll be right there handy when ya get up.
