I dont know how to post pics. hoping lancer will post the new z bars up. THey came out really nice. finally can stretch my arms out. I have most of the other parts. but now I have to do all the hard work. time to start bobbing and cutting. This is the neat part because it is like your own vision. I cant wait to start shaping the fenders. ill have to open  a photobucket or something and learn how to post pics. I doubt poor lancer wants to post all my stuff lol.
Sorry I was a bit excited in that post. The bike is a whole new personality with sound and rpm. I found another 20mph that I never thought the bike could reach. plus as its going at least when I hang out at my local 81 bar I am finally getting fewer snickers... what can I say I like my thumper. and I drive it like its stolen...

Well I have the new tank in and all the fenders bobbed. Im sending them in to get custom painted next week. the bike is lowered 3,5" now and looks great. I added the custom spike grips, chrome oil cap, chrome oil reservoir cap, all new chrome pegs, the new bars, I ordered spike shaped mirrors, I sent lancer the photo.Ill keep messing with photobucket.

all the fenders bobbed.

What? Youve already bobbed all BOTH of them!?!?

Photobucket isnt all that hard. I even managed it a couple of times. But, Ive forgotten even how to find the ones I posted. Im not gonna go thru the hassle of learning again,, take the pics, find the cable, open the account, dump the pics in, then link them to the forum,, Nope,, not me, Im done, but , if I wanted to, I could, & I am a total goober about tech stuff,,If Lancer is coming over & helping you, IM sure he can show you the ropes. If youre like me, you should take notes. I wish I had written the steps as I learned them,

as blue as that head pipe looks in the first pick, id definetly look into a mainjet or dyno reading to be safe, its never good when piston and cylinder become one Smiley

That blue was prior to me owning the bike. the previous owner made the blue. I am running a 160 main jet! Im sure that its not my fault, Im running in the top 2% of the largest main jets on the site. I have it set perfect. That pipe is from  1996 and the bike a mild exhaust with no jet alteration for over 15 years! then I got it and did it right. Hell I hit 103mph today! and got there in traffic! So Im running well and open.

dont forget lancer has helped me alot with the jetting. I am running one of the largest filters possible on this bike, plus a chrome custom 3.25" intake pipe with no airbox into the carb with a 160 main jet and 55 pilot, then I have a complete hollowed out Jardine slash cut exhaust. I have wicked airflow and maximized exhaust ports and header cpacity. Im looking into a custom header, and soon to be cam and big bore kit.

But yes the fenders are bobbed I did them custom myself through one eye in the rain after a twelve pack of beer. The front in immaculate, the rear is a work in progress because I have to custom fit the new spider web hand stitched solo seat and axle mount vertical license plate.

Thanks Lancer! the fender came out cool. The rear is pretty nifty too. Ill post up the pics now that I have photobucket. I did the ford duo side mount tail light and cut the snot out of the rear. no back seat. front seat has spider web. We did a bike run today. 200+ bikes with police escort for a fallen hero. it was awesome. I kinda blended in with the hundreds of really well built loud harleys. I did my share of thumpin. I can honestly say I was the lowest bike there.lol I at least had one guy say nice lowrider..lol

Why does everyone think these bikes are 500cc's  Sad   I saw alot of supercharged and turbo bikes. holy crap do they lay a burn out.. one guy went for nearly a quarter mile Shocked

It's because of the single. A big ol 650cc single isn't the most common of motors. I had a guy at a barber shop last week ask me if it was a 250 or 400.
