E clip schmeee clip 04/24/12 at 09:19:09 So, I found one in the roll about, same size as the oil pump drive & panic set in,, took the side cover off & looked,, Yep,, I put one on,, OHhh so now where did this come from?? Well,, I bought a new oil pump drive gear, online, it CAME with one,,, dooooh,,, I felt so stewpid.. but now I dont have to pull the clutch basket,, yippeee,,

Re: E clip schmeee clip Reply #2 - 04/24/12 at 10:12:17 Ohh, yea,, no way was I gonna start it without looking,, Unless I had remembered I replaced that gear & had 2 clips,, which is exactly what I did,, as Soon as I saw that clip on the gear shaft,, I mean that split second,, it Alll came back to me,, Ohh why not 10 minutes sooner? Huhh? Does it always hafta go that way?
