Newb question on bags....

First of all, thanks for what I have already learned from you fine folks on this site already.

Just purchased an 07 S40 with 1100 miles for my commuter bike. I am wondering if anyone can give me some insight into some saddlebags that will fit without a lot of problems or mods.  Seems like a small space to work with, but I know you folks will have the answer.

I am not looking for anything grand....just functional for an everyday rider.

I appreciate the help.

Safe journeys to all of you.

Scott

Any Willie and Max compact slant bag will fit.

or something of similar dimensions.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

Thanks for the help.

I have a tape measure, but was wondering if there were some that were more compatabile than others.

Definitely look into those.

Have a great day.

I just ordered a Saddlemen tunnel bag this weekend.

I'm not sure how I'll like it yet, but it looks as convenient as a backpack with out the back strain.

(I'm assuming your not set on saddlebags)

SALB,

That is awesome. I don't think I have ever seen one of those. Great option to consider.

Thanks for the link.
