Try to borrow a gorilla, or an impact wrench... They don't come off easy...

Thanks very much! I was expecting that, every nut on this sucker is a workout! I guess thats a good sign, that no ones been wrenching on it til me.
Now that I'm looking at it, I guess I should just drop the back wheel and take it apart that way.
I've also noticed the flange on that front pulley looks all outta sorts, like someone was attempting to straigten or thin it out. That might be a problem later.
As of right now, I have the seat, tank, controls, carb, and wiring harness completely off the bike. My goal is to remove the engine and bring it to my dad, who lives a couple states over. It's on the lift, do you suggest I remove the back wheel and go at it that way?
I'm 37 and been riding since I was 5...but this is my first project so any help is certainly appreciated.
