Right hand blinker stopped working...
04/18/12 at 21:37:18

I took out my airbox and moved my battery box back.
Sometime while doing this...I believe I may have damaged some wiring. My right blinker does not work. The left side works fine, but when I go to use the right blinker....both the left and right side front blinker lights kind of flicker very faintly in the sequence that the blinker would make. The rear taillight does this also. Nothing happens to the rear blinkers.
I tried swapping bulbs and that didnt help.

Any clues?

i never moved my tank...i have a feeling the problem is somewhere around all the wires and connectors under the seat. I tried wiggling things around and checked all the connectors.

you gotta short.  check the connectors for the rear lights maybe you pulled them loose and maybe one of them is touching ground.

fixed it!
it was the screw that holds the right side blinker assembly to the fender.....as soon as I moved the screw, it was fixed!
I took my sissy bar off this weekend and I must have pinched a wire or something while i was doing it.

Lotsa times my experience in things 12V electrical...it's the ground.
I also keep a little tube of Di-Electric Grease handy. A tiny smidgeon on connections/Mini-fuses seems to work wonders. So, exactly what WAS the problem wire's problem? Locomotiveman
