new bike was a florida bike lots of yuck on the forks and risers colling fins on heads, exposed aluminum parts etc- who has the rocket science answer to cleaning this?

If it's corroding, the clear coat is gone.
remove remaining spots of clear coat, polish and protect.
I've been using a product called zoop on the polished areas.
But you can repaint with clear coat.

I browsed around and along side of Zoop there is Everbrite which sounds like it does the same thing.

Mine had small blisters under the clear coat. I wanted to clean them, but changed my mind, it just wasn't worth it fighting the clear coat and all. This would only be done in a complete major restore,.... IMO.

a little Tal-strip II will take that clear right off no problem, just watch your overspray.

A palm sized orbital with a green scotch brite pad & a spray bottle of water made my clean up job sooo much easier,,
Some clear acrylic spray from Lowes & Whoopeee, it sure looks a lot better,, it downrite pretty again. The labor time would have been cut in half had I started with this approach instead of sanding by hand,,
Works great on the fin edges too, if you have the black jug,,
