New food...

Screw health,...
Let's list some favourite food combo's that taste great and may be unknown...

1.. Chocolate chip cookies (the crunchy kind, not mushy), with peanut butter smeared on them... Hmmmmm!...
(must have milk or you can't swallow)...

2. a standard in England, but unknown here... French fry sandwich (chip butty).... Mash some fries on a piece of buttered white bread and fold over... (more the better)...

3. Potato chip sandwich... with butter, ... steak sauce optional...

4. hot dog with cheese and ketchup, on white bread, toasted in the oven (set oven on broil)... (kids that won't eat anything else, will eat this)...

5. Frito's in tomato soup... (Oh yea, now yer' talkin')  Yumm!...

Huh...

Heh.  I was looking on http://thisiswhyyourefat.tumblr.com (a site designed to gross you out with way over-the-top greasy food) and there was this apple fritter thing.. stuffed with cream cheese, then wrapped in bacon.. I thought mMMMmmmMMm looks good!!  Cheesy

Then.. true story.. we were having a safety meeting at work and the secretary brought probably the most dangerous food known to man.. brownies loaded with bacon bits.   I was going to have one, just to say I did, but thought better of it.  Brownies contain wheat, you know  Grin

Oh yeah.. I do love "rats."  As in, Jalapenos (or habaneros if you're feeling manly enough) stuffed with cream cheese, wrapped in bacon and barbecued. Last time I made those, I snuck a couple of habaneros in with the jalapenos and didn't tell anyone.. a good laugh was had by all.

Yes to the potato chip sandwich, but with sliced bananas on it.  Also, baked bean sandwich.  Oh yes, and butter and mustard (The yellow kind) on a french roll.

I've been avoiding grains (with mixed success) for well over a year now, but I LOVE a (crunchy) peanut butter/mayo/bacon sandwich. Yes, seriously.

Thanks, 'bot - I just had dinner & now I'm hungry...

Ohh bud! If you wanna have fun... grill bhut jolokia peppers... AKA ghost chili pepper... YEEEOOOWW!  I love them very much... great flavor... but... the heat... 4x hotter than the beloved habanero...

P.S..  Marinate the fresh peppers..(jalapenos/ habaneros/ ghost peppers) in milk either overnight or minimum 2 hrs in MILK.... Trust me... Learnt the hard way from an army chef.... and maaaan is it good... Enjoy my friend...

WHOOOOO YEAH  man, I am going for it!  Already ordered seeds from http://www.thehottestpepper.com  -- that surfin' Hawaiian dude -- and got some jolokias that are just starting to bud out. Here I'll attach a pic of my ghost pepper plants.. can't wait to get the peppers and grill them, teeheeheee!!  Cheesy

I am also thinking about adding them to crawfish boils.  The heat cooks out the spice to where you have to either spend a fortune on Zatarain's spice or use way too many habaneros, so I figure the jolokias will fix it right up.

I get hot sauces, after The Incident.
I cut up some fresh halepinios for a chile I was making. I didn't use gloves. I rubbed my eyes. Used a half quart of milk on 'em before they stopped tearing. Then, not having washed my hands, I took a leak. Used the other half quart on the package before it stopped burning. Embarrassed
Almost as much fun as when my pharmacist misread a prescription and I put an analgesic cream for muscle pain on my hemeriods, instead of the anugesic he had prescribed. Did a little dance in the shower that day. Grin
