Bread pans wired together on one end, small vise grips ( remove spring first) to close them, chopped up taters with butter, onion, garlic & jalapenos, bake on the grill..You can flip it, but spin it quick or lose butter.

I call them "Special Taste Bars"

I make them once a week and snack on them all
the time, they always taste great but always different,
here is why:

I juice mornings about every 2nd day
( I always make enough to last 2-3days)

and with the leftover mulch (carrots, apple,
celery, cucumber, kale, oranges, leafy greens,
pears, berries, anything really) I make fruit bars, yum.

* All you do is follow your favorite carrot cake recipe
and throw this stuff in (mulch) using about twice as much
as the recipe calls for shaved carrots, cut the sugar in half
(or use honey) and add maybe 15min of baking time, done.

if you want vegan replace:

Butter with coconut oil, or other oil
eggs with peanut butter or fig puree
and milk with mineral water

I also always throw in a banana, nuts
and raisins for consistency and use only
spelt flour and sometimes oatmeal.

Update (ta-daa!):

Aren't those just the cutest little peters....   Grin  Smiley

I'm gonna have to try a few of you guy's recipes.  But you all reminded me of one day I came walking down the hall, looked into the bathroom, and found my (first) husband standing at the sink, with his naked manhood hanging out, trying to splash cold water on it.  Before I could ask, he said "I was cutting up those jalepeno's and needed to pee"...  That was over 20 years ago and still cracks me up.   Grin

That pretty much is the recipe.  Choose your cheese.  I like jack and cheddar mixed.  Folks who want theirs milder will like cream cheese.  Cut the stem ends off the jalapenos, fill 'em with cheese, wrap 'em in your favorite breakfast sausage (I like to use spicy varieties) and roll it in Shake N Bake.  I think I bake 'em at 375 and just watch 'em until they look done.  Fresh jalapenos are easiest to work with and have a brighter, fresh-garden flavor I love.  Some folks just like pickled jalapenos better though.  Recipe works the same for either but pickled ones split easily when stuffing 'em with cheese, so be careful.

Those hardboiled eggs sound good.  I may try a Shake N Bake version of those instead of deep-frying and see how they come out.

And when it comes to bhut jolokia, I have thus far been unsuccessful in growing my own but I've since learned they really have to be babied when sprouts (i.e. raised indoors on top of a heating pad until they're like 8 inches high, then transplanted outside ONLY if temps are already quite warm.  They die very easily when young if temps dip below the 70's at night.  On the bright side, Firehouse Pantry has quite a lot of products available and the ground bhut jolokia is excellent.  It has a smoky flavor sort of like chilpotle but with a significantly increased scalp-sweat factor.
