Please help! mystery hose
04/14/12 at 05:09:13
I know this is a silly dumb thing, but I took off my tank for repairs and when I pulled it off a hose became disconnected and I cannot tell where this hose goes. I believe it is a vacuum hose, and my clymers manual only says that it is a 'hose', and does not tell me where the other end plugs in to. It is the only hose that comes out of the carb on the left side that heads tward the rear of the bike (figure 39 in this picture) Please help! ( nevermind the site wont let me post!)
also if anyone knows of a good place to buy new carbs near newark oh, I just moved any my savage is choking on the ohio air, I need to rejet..
Thank you!

wow ok if they are an over flow tube and dont connect to anything, then I have more problems cause my bike wont idle now, I took it for a test run and on 3rd gear it shut down and wont start back up. that is what made me think the hose plugs into something cause it ran fine before I took off my tank. Thank you for the help everyone

Since you're having a problem with vent tubes...
it's probably the vac hose that you're really having an issue with.
those two plugged lines connect together. but also...

I attached that vacuum hose correctly, but will check my connections again in case it is loose.
