less work is to do this first

quick and dirty is to get a can of ether starting fluid, pull the air filter and give the airbox hole a big big shot of either and then crank the bike quick like to see if you have a fuel issue.   The bike will start and run with no throttle off the ether vapors (momentarily anyway).

if it doesn't even try to start then go for the plug

Clean all the trash from around the spark plug area (bike will suck in sand if you leave any around within range).

Pull the spark plug, put it back on the spark plug wire and carefully ground it to the bare cable from the solenoid (easiest bestus place to clip it in under tension so it doesn't shake loose).  Crank and see if you have a spark ....

ok ill try some starting fluid. i changed the spark plug to a warmer version, hoping that would work

i tried it. the problem isnt that it wont idle. the problem is that it wont turn over. I try for atleast 10-15 minutes before it will actually crank up

Can you elaborate a bit more? When you hit the starter button, can you hear the decomp solenoid click and then the starter turn over?

If it doesn't turn over, that usually points to battery, starter, or bad safety switch (in your case the battery is good). Double-check how you start the bike: in neutral, kickstand up, clutch in should be all the safeties.
If it turns over but doesn't catch, that points to spark plug, battery (again, but not as dead of a battery before), or carb (air/fuel).

If you have some starter fluid (or carb cleaner or brake cleaner) squirt some into the cylinder and then try and start it. If it catches once or twice, carb issues.

yes i hear the solenoid click.. it turns but just doesnt catch. it may back fire quite a few time and sound like it wants to start. but it falls a little short lol
