So anyway the scoop is ready for bodywork and paint, but I want to include some mounting points for my horn(s). Is anyone running a dual setup or such.

I suppose I'm a bit dense, or I missed something along the way, but what is the purpose of that little scoop? It looks cool as all get out but does it serve a function? Aerodynamics? Direct air up towards the engine for cooling? Hide blue LED lights for night-light shows?

What kinda tools do you have for cutting & shaping? Got a program to help with layout? If you just started in & used a torch & tape measure & hammers & welder & grinder, if you did that 20 hours you did allrite, It looks good.

It works a little like a mud flap, for bikes with no fender,

Functioning scoops or belly pans served to direct air flow over cooling surfaces and clean up the slipstream of of a bike. This one is more form than function, what can I say I love to fabricate and to the best of my knowledge there is nothing like this for a savage so it was a good challenge.

There is plenty of room to mount an ugly horn in here, I'm researching relay setups to power one.

I got a dual horn wiring kit ( relays, connectors, etc.) from Eastern Beaver that I use on my Kawasaki, but I don't see it on their site anymore. If you're not an electricity moron like me, you can wire up two horns yourself. I used snail-shaped car horns and put one in the tail and one under the engine. They're very loud and get more attention than the typical beep-beep motorcycle horn.

The snail horn is exactly what I have, I found some relay kits for about 40 bucks. Did you use the stock horn button?

Yeah, the stock button just acts like a trigger circuit for the relay. The horns are wired directly to the battery.
