HEY RENEGADE...
Lowering your forks shouldn't change anything about your handlebars at all. Here's the Blog post from Chop Cult that shows a great how-to. They lowered the forks way more than 2", which I probably wouldn't do, it'll give you hardly any travel at all, but they were building a super-low Bobber, so that's what they were after... The Ryca guys have a PDF guide and video on their website also if you search their technical documents.

HEY SKEEBO!
I'm ready for my pulley guard any time now. Just send me some payment instructions and the money is all yours!

haha you speak the truth buddy. sorry to mention it again but if i lower those forks the two inches like you've posted somewhere that i have to find again, will i be able to just do it then ride or is there anything i have to worry about as in handlebar clearence?
Drop the forks and your rolling, the brake line may be long but you can live with that if you don't want to buy a shorter one right away, just wait till you do a brake job, change the line and bleed the brakes.

I couldn't get the look cause I ran out of talent and screwed it all up...just as well making one from scratch let's me get a 4 inch hole centered and I use different mounting points which gives the top a lower profile hax4

Pulley guard came in this afternoon and it looks slick. I need to polish it up, but it's staying on there for now. Certainly a much better look than stock with that belt guard removed.
From seeing the pictures of it up close... here would be my only suggestion. Is it possible to recess the mounting points, similar to that of the stock cover? I'm not sure how you'd do it out of 1 piece without welding something in place... But it might finish the look instead of having those bolts sticking out as they do now.
Also - Is there any need to fill the holes that are not being used now? I can't see any reason that they would need to be, but just want to be sure.
Looking forward to some additional parts from you in the future.

THAT LOOKS GREAT!
I can't wait to get mine in the mail...
Then again, I can't wait to get my bike back so I have something to put it on!

Wow! that was fast, the other hole is just for the stock cover. I like your Idea of recessing the bolts. I'm working out a simple flaring tool right now. I guess I'll have to send ya a new one..

Would studs with acorn nuts be a good step?

I'd go with button allen heads myself, black or polished, either way.

Just counter-sink the holes and use flush-head screws. A flare would be total overkill. Use an 82degree c'sink to leave as much material as possible. I've never actually went looking for an 82deg c'sink since they're so common in a machine shop but I can't imagine they'd be hard to find. I'm willing to bet even Harbor Freight has them.
Has anyone with a chain conversion put one of these on their bike? I'd love to see what it looks like.

Search for "chain
coversion
" and you'll find it. The titled was misspelled. I already have my sprockets and a nice gold x-ring chain, I'm just wondering if this cover will look right.
The hole in the side frames the pulley beautifully but a sprocket looks much different. Could you do some other designs or maybe just leave the hole out of it and I'll have my way with it?
