Yea, 78 model, 327, stock,, wasnt exactly a hot rod, but it sure ran smooth, started up great, handled good,, till I had new tires put on it,.long before I heard about mold release agents,, on the way back to work, hit that last corner not one bit harder than I did on the old tires,, Complete understeer, off the road, into a tree,,, Ive never stopped mourning that car,,

Not a lot of progress on the scoop,I'ts painted ready for the grille. At the request of a customer I fabbed a pulley cover that gives that open look without all the drama. I like seeing the pulley but dont like how it looked unfinished, just some nice hardware and this is done.

I like what you did with the pulley cover, the RYCA boys should come calling for that one.   Cool

That would be cool...I'm doing a version in aluminum so it can be polished.

Skeebo, looking good! Only thing I notice about the bike overall now is there is no blue towards the rear of the bike...Almost like the fender or the rear pulley needs to be painted the same blue you've got going everywhere else. Just my opinion, but the bike looks good.  Cool

What about blue stripes down the fender, reverse image of the tank?
