Savages.

For all of you that knew him, Max Morley has passed away.  I will quote the email that I received from his family.

*********************

"This note is to pass on the sad news of Max Morley's death.  After a courageous seven year battle with cancer, Max passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 28, 2012.  Max was a great guy with lots of interests and many of you may have known him by his involvement with Motorcycles, Automotive Repair and teaching or Apple Computers.  He was greatly loved and will be missed by us all."

*********************
For myself, I pray that Max is in peace with God, now.  He was a great guy and will be missed.  Greg

I really enjoyed meeting and spending time with Max when he came to the bike shop I worked at. Sad to hear of his passing.

Cancer has never been rare.

I never heard Max complain about his disease, and always kept a positive attitude.  Even though he must have been very ill, my last email at the first of March contained no negative thought at all.  He knew what was coming and he simply wanted to update me.  Without elaboration, I knew that was likely my last email and my final reply was never answered.

Max was a brave man, too.

I'm relatively new to this forum, but having poured over its contents at length and read so many of his posts I feel Max was a friend, and I have a sure sense his was a life well lived. He touched more lives than he knew, and he'll continue to through those lives and these pages. Bless you, sir, and bon voyage..

I hate this hideous disease with a passion. Lost two more friends in 2011 to it. Rest easy Max, and peace and healing for your family.

I can't say I knew him well. but I enjoyed his informative posts, and they way he often spoke of himself in the 3rd person.

I'll miss him..   RIP

I never had the pleasure of meeting Max in person but interacted with him enough over several years to say I really liked him.  I'm saddened at his passing and will keep his family and friends in my thoughts and prayers.
