I use photo bucket. I can't get any of the photo codes to work. Any idea why or what service I can use for this?

I use tinypic to host my avatar, so far, so good.

Under profile>options there is a line that says:  

I have my own pic:     http://i41.tinypic.com/jzxpu1.jpg  

Do it just like that, substituting your own picture location.  You don't need image tags around the address or anything.

Be sure you have the check-box checked where it says "I have my own pic"

Mac users,where are you?????  I've been trying to upload pics for months now with no luck from my Mac OS Snow Lepeoard w?iphoto. So am I understanding I need to sign up with a hosting service? Can I not upload directly?
