I was hoping to get this project started before Christmas, but being the master procrastinator that I am I'm now starting my bobber project right at the start of the riding season
At least looking out at the beautiful riding weather from the workshop is a great motivator to get my butt in gear.
I'm not doing anything too drastic this time around:
*new rear fender and struts. Fender made from harley front fender.
*cutting original fender struts
*side mounted licence plate and tail light
*'frisco style gass tank modified with external gass level gauge
*fake oil tank for housing battery and electrics
Hoping to have this done by next Wednesday
These pics represent where I got today
A quick mock-up
The donor Harley front fender
Splitting, widening, and welding
Mounting bracket for rear fender
Result of day 1
(hopefully the pics should be working now)
