JoG- the stuff that I'm thinking he's talking about is applied liberally to the entire stud, right up to where it goes in the riser itself. It's used to make sure the spacer does not rust to the stud.
Ahhh,, well,, thats somethin else En Tirely..
Anybody else have white dots on bolts on their new bike? Mine is an 05.

The other one is HAS ANYONE TRIED THE HARDTAIL STRUTS?????? DZ-CUSTOMS???? it lowers the bike 3" and makes it a hardtail. I love the look.
Mine had those on it when I bought the bike. I ended up switching back to shocks to make the ride more bearable and selling them to another member on the board...here's what they looked like on my bike the day I brought it home...

See I like that look but was the ride truly unbearable? I basically want to dump some of the extra stuff they have on the bike. It seems awesful cluttered for a thumper. I hate the side panels where mine says ls650. ugh they give me the chills just looking at them.
Ill check out those bar companies thank you for the feedback, I have a few good ideas now. Next im going to try that mini battery creation. to open that area up and dump those side panels..yuk

Check Kromewerks bars out, they are all I will run anymore. My Savage had 13.5" apes, now runs 15" apes. Vulcan 750/800 clutch cable from Motion Pro, Harley Shovelhead era throttle cable from Motion Pro (ball end cable, not the ring end cable).
Find a real bike shop in your area or a small engine shop that handles commercial equipment, they can make custom cables.
