Easy to mount bolt on bobber signals?
03/15/12 at 06:12:48

I'm looking for some easy to bolt on thinner profile than stock turn signals, front and rear. I'm still riding a 2 seater, but I want thinner signals front and back.. anyone have any suggestions? I don't have alot of time at the moment for mods and I'm having a hard time finding anything good at my usual sources...I eventually plan on side mounted license plate and all that ruckus with a single springer seat, but for now these darn bullet turn signals are too bulky for me.. aha.. any links appreciated.. thanks!  Cheesy

I bought these:
http://www.amazon.com/Motorcycle-Indicators-Blinkers-Cruisers-Davidsons/dp/B0...

...to replace three faulty turn signals on two other bikes. They work and look decent. Lower load than those stock signals were though, so they flash a bit faster. Not too hard to change with a resistor or a different flasher, plus they are cheap.

Amazon has some other turn signals that are even smaller (like these http://www.amazon.com/Small-Mini-Turn-Signals-Motorcycle/dp/B003UNPHMK/ref=sr... which are about the size of a quarter) too.

I find that a lot of motorcycle-only websites jack up the price on parts that just don't seem like they should be worth that much, but i'm also just a cheap b*stard  Grin

for ease of installation, the first set I linked two bolts right on and wires right in (at least they did on my other bikes).

the second set (the small mini ones) just attach with double sided tape. can't get much easier than that.
