Replacement grips
03/06/12 at 10:44:42
Greetings,
The throttle sleeve on my 04 Savage came apart during my daily commute yesterday. Fortunately, I was almost home when it happened. I really hated the stock grips anyway.
Question: What is a good replacement grip? Is there anything more comfortable? I know about the Kurakuryn 6235, but I was hoping for an alternative. Any online vendors/links to recommend?
Any help is appreciated!

do you need to replace the sleeve too or just the grip?
there's a iso grip clone for about $30 and comes with a sleeve.
The iso grips are nice but quite a bit larger then stock grips.
I've started looking for gel grips.

I think Versy is talking about these style grips... (they are a knockoff of the ISO-grips)
I bought some from this vendor, and I'm happy with them. They are definitely larger in diameter than the stock grips, and I haven't got many miles on them yet, but so far I like the feel and the looks of them on my new bars. And they come with a throttle tube, so they are super easy to change out.

Serowbot turned me onto these. I put a pair on my bike and I absolutely love them. So much so that I went out and bought a second pair
