snowed again
02/29/12 at 04:46:01

Geeze the poor daffodils will be shocked now.
We got some snow again last evening. The grounds
are now covered.  Angry
I am hoping my shrubs and such survives now as many
had blooms on them. The poor fruit trees will possibly
not fare well either.
So those of you that are enjoying warm spring type weather,
be warned, I may end up on your doorsteps..  Grin Grin  kim

I now how you feel. We have 6 or more inches coming today and tomorrow. That'll be the biggest storm we have since the october storm. It's been an easy winter as far as snow totals and warm temps are concerned. March could make up for the rest of the winter. I hope not, I wanna ride.

Yup.  75 here yesterday, supposed to be 79 today and 82 tomorrow.  Then we're supposed to get a cool front and drop back to 70 for the weekend. **sigh**  It's nice now but this summer will probably be a scorcher.

Exactly how our winter has been. Big storm in October then not much of anything the rest of the winter. Now mother nature has decided to start showering us with snow again, just when I've been really  wanting to get riding again.

Oh well, I guess I still have time to get the bike put back together before the weather changes.

Got a light dusting of snow coming down right now here too.  Daffodils are coming up, but history has shown that mine seem to be nigh indestructible.  They've been up 5" or so some years, and had a couple inches of snow hit 'em, and been as green as ever when it melts off. Huh  Plus the dang things spread like weeds.  Heck, I haven't even watered them for 5 years now! Roll Eyes

Yippee snow didn't hang around too long. Oh but a day is too
long right now..
I am hoping to ride this weekend. Temps supposed to be in the
50's..
The song, "I want to ride my bike, my bike." Keeps running thru
my head. I need to get rid of my p.m.s... " Parked Motorcycle Syndrome."

Al I sure hope your snow melts quickly and your able to get some miles
on that new bike soon.. Hugs all..  Kiss Kiss Kiss kim

Yes, mom nature has been teasing us here in Wisconsin too. Couple days in the 50's and then 5" of slop. Supposed to be in the 50's again mid week but the bike is still down in the garage with a flat front tire. (The one I hit the rock with last year) Coming off later today. Hope it's just a pinched tube. That tire was new last spring.

I don't wanna die...just want to ride on my motorcy.......cle.
(I don't want no dam pickle either)

Too cool to ride here today, it was only in the 60s. Which would be great if we weren't having lower level winds keeping it in the mid-50s chill range.

Usually my ideal temps, but, the last couple weeks have been hitting high 70s and low 80s at the farm. Guess I've acclimated to Dixie again, I'm sitting here in a thermal shirt.

Bought my savage Saturday under 52 degrees and cloudy skies. Came home to an inch of snow last night, woke up to another inch this morning, and may get 2 more before 10am.... And I live in seattle!!!

Here in eastern Nfld. we've gotten off lightly this year as far as snowfall is concerned ... much below average ... but that's gonna change tonight when a Nor' Easter is forecast to bring blizzard conditions and over a foot of snow! Sad
