I went through this problem last year. Nothing I did would stop the squeek, until I replaced the shoes. I roughed up the inside of the drum, where the shoe contacts the drum, with emery cloth while it was apart. I also roughed up the new shoes with the emery cloth. And I beveled the leading and trailing edges of the new shoes, just to be sure. Even now, it still squeeks a little when I 1st go out. 2 or 3 hard stops and it goes away.
I see no other way to fix this problem without taking it apart, unfortunately.
