1st ride in 2012

Well today was a start of many more
to come, I hope.
Beautiful sun and got to ride Genie
finally. Rode about 75 miles total.
Now a huge ride yet was a nice one.
Genie performed great as usual. She
not only shinned, she sparkled as was
so happy to get out..
No pics of the ride though..Next time.. Smiley kim

I just fired up the bike for 15 minutes to ICRC. The oil and keep the battery up.

It's going to be a long 2 1/2 - 3 months. Sigh.............

Even though we are hovering around the low 40s everyday, I haven't rode in about 3 weeks.

Last night I pulled the stock drag bars and risers off so that I can put on my mini-apes. Going to have to extend some wiring, and replace the front brake line and clutch cable at least before it is rideable again. It appears the throttle cable is going to be long enough after I re-routed it to the backside of the triple trees. Now I just have to order up some parts.

May go for a ride in awhile. Sun can be deceiving though.
Was a cold 26 degrees here this a.m.
Takes awhile for the outside to warm up enough for a
ride..Will keep the fingers crossed.
Verslagen1, nice to hear you were able to get the Honda
out, even if it was just to ride in circles. Now get those
brakes on so we can see some video's of you actually
riding it.. Smiley hugs all.. kim

Been riding here in Mississippi at least once a week. I remember a funeral last year with a beautiful snow falling on the 9th of Feb. Rode today and planning on riding tomorrow. Going around seeing old friends who are now hurting and in need of company. With gas up to 3.47 just today I am trying to use my Savage as a backup car more and more. Fun, too!
