Type the magic words ....

["img]your picture's web address[/img"]

with the "  " marks not being there of course.   Removing the "  " marks starts the real magic up and everything disappears and the picture magically replaces the line of HTML code you just typed.

Or you can use the third magic clicker on the top line at the top of the window box you type your threads inside.   When you hover over it, it says "insert image".

Give it a shot, once you do it once you will have it forever.

Wiseco 97mm forged piston ... a beautiful thing !  Cool

Prepared cylinder; Bore-tech did the boring, honing and silicone carbide treatment; top of cylinder locally machined for flatness

OK MotoBuddha

What size did you put in yours ?

It must be more that 95mm

I wouldn't trust anybody else to do the bore job for me.   .002 will but .003 woin't fit between the cylinder and piston.

Looking at the insert in the Wiseco piston box; they suggest .002" clearance for pistons less than 80mm, and .003" for pistons over 80mm.
Wish I had a lathe/boring machine and knew how to use it.   Undecided
That would be fun stuff.   Smiley

It was about 7 months after the Feb. accident before I was cleared to begin to resume normal activities, and then I was in Okla. and Calif. a couple times each taking care of family stuff, and then got married.  So I have just begun to really get back into m/c activities.  So the answer is no, REX has not be excised of the electrical demons that plagued him prior to all of that.  Being electrically challenged I will take him to my local dealer if I cannot make him behave properly after one last time.

Do you think Rex may be suffering from Sparkattic arest ?

Well  here is an idea :

next time Rex does start ,  have a volt meter hooked up to him ,   If the Voltage regulator is letting too high a voltage into the system the black box controlling the spark will overheat and Rex will go into "Sparkattic" arest.  Grin

Maby we should start a new topic "What could it be , The REX delimma"  Tongue

Lancer, when I had a bad electrical gremlin, it turned out to be corrosion on the prongs of the wire harness that attaches to the CDI. I've had that problem twice now.
