New to the boards as well. I just bought the bike in the thread about voodoo vintage micah spicer's short chop. Incredible bike. But I have a few questions...... Is the rear axle bolt 3/4 or 20mm? Planning on maching a billet aluminum brake light and tag mount. And, has anyone heard of wiring a ciggerette lighter on a bike. Im planning on buying the mount for a smartphone on the handlebar for gps and speedo use, and would like to be able to use my usb adapter and cord to keep the phone charged like in a car? Planning on mounting it under the tank out of view and running the cable up to the phone but not sure if this idea will work on a 6 volt system.

17mm
yes, it's been done.
I'd wire it off the battery direct for more constant voltage.
savage is 12v

Yes, I did that on my bike (GS 125 Marauder), just like verslagen1 said - wire it directly from the battery - works perfectly to charge the mobile phone
a very good idea when you go on long trips

Amazing! Awesome thing there. Im thinkin the phone mount doesnt go with the style but niether does a speedo. At least the phone has multiple fuctions.
