I have read that between 1000 and 1100 World War II Vets die each day. Sunday night we lost another one, a very dear friend of mine. Bill Kendall was among the first of the Green Berets in the US Army, 11th Airborne Division, 4th Ranger Battalion. He served and was wounded twice in the Pacific, later fought in the Korean Conflict and served two tours in Viet Nam. He was carer army, but more importantly he was a great friend. Most important of all, he served in the Lord's army.
