Boofer--I think it can be saved with another coat of JB weld. Just haven't gotten to it yet. Still can't afford to have it properly repaired, or replaced... but I should be able to squeek 1 more summer out of it. Right now, just waiting for some warmer weather so it bonds properly. And I still have that flat front tire to deal with. It will be ready by springtime, if that ever comes, way up here in the frozen tundra. At the moment, I'm tending the battery and counting the days.....

I think I'm gonna be picking up a pair of metzelers this month... I'll have an extra front Shinko 777 with almost 4k miles on it laying around...

70+ degrees again today -- warm and misty out tonight but partially cloudy and 70+ degrees again -- riding time all over again.

Yeah, it's about 45 F in the morning and then 75 F in the afternoon.  I think we're supposed to have a front come through that'll drop it a bit.  We should get a little rain tonight and tomorrow and then the weekend will have highs in the 50s.  Not bad at all for this time of year.

I do love Florida in the winter time, no crazy mountains to drive, but good coastal roads and 75+ highs and 60+- lows for the next 10 days

Broke into the 50's yesterday, and no rain for a change! Cheesy Broke the bike out to run some errands around town, and took the scenic route home. Didn't get home 'til well after dark, brrr! Grin

Almost 60 today, time for a longer ride! Smiley

Yeah John, Portland got a bit warmer than here at
my house. Even Seattle got warmer. We had frost
this a.m. and sunny yet still cool out now. Maybe
get in a ride later. I started Genie up and let her
purr for quite awhile yesterday. Was just too cool
and windy here. Spring is coming though.. Riding
weather and possibly group rides again.. Smiley Kim

I know exactly what you mean.  I think the same way about beautiful eastern Tennessee.  And as an added bonus, Tennessee has no state income tax!

Ham45,
What part of eastern Tn.?
I moved back to Kodak (eastern)Tn. about a year ago from Marshall NC. I'd love to find someone near here with a Savage to ride these Mtns. with. Oh yea, this weather is great, I spent the last day of Jan. with the top down on the convertible. But then last Jan. was the ATV in about a foot of snow.  Grin

Daffodils have budded and opened up all nice and yellow in Raleigh NC.

Red bud trees have opened up (still red, leaves haven't turned green yet)

Robins are here and out digging them early worms.

Mother Nature says it is early spring time ....

(hope the old girl has it right the first time with no sudden relapses)
