Just putting the Airhawk on top of the seat didn't work for me. Felt like I was hatching an egg.
So, I built it into the seat (tore a spare seat down to the pan, and built it back up around the Airhawk). Very comfy, and got me riding.
It finally gave up the ghost after about 70k miles. Went back to the stock seat, and am doing OK on that so far.
