Suzuki TU250 - Cafe Bike

Saw this on another site, it's the newer TU250 setup similar to the RYCA Cafe bikes. Turned out well & if I recall correctly that little bike is also fuel injected.  Cheesy

Nice enough lookin little bike, but I think the muffler is a bit on the big side for it. If I was trying to build a slim little ride, I think Id try to make the muffler fit into that scheme.

Those TU250's are really gorgeous; stock, or cafe'.
I do think this one could be pushed farther; It really just has a low handlebar and that home-made looking rear tail cowling; the rest looks bone stock; including the too big exhaust, but still a great bike!

And YES, fuel injected!
Now Suzuki needs to get serious, and take the S40 motor and give us a fuel injected TU650. They already have the frame for the European Tempter; it's a no-brainer Suzuki!!! (is anyone out there listening...)  Shocked

Next year I'm getting a new bike,
but seeing little elegant, fun, cool
bikes like this one with dirt cheap
insurance and amazing mpg's makes
me kinda want to ditch my search for
a new savage, what to do what to do.

I know!

Get a new/used savage AND
slowly turn my trusty lil' SR125 into
a naked/caferacer, whatcha all think?
can it be done with this as my base-cycle?!
Cool

Anyone has any ideas? srsly.
Cheers.

I think that's a Fantastic idea!
I actually had an SR250 for a couple of years that I got for peanuts, and I had planned the same thing. My wife learned to ride on that bike, but we got a new house and a new baby, and that plan went down the drain; so I sold the bike.

But this year I got together with my buddy Jay, and we are building this out of an old Savage. The idea is just about the same; changing the frame geometry shouldn't be too much different. Check out the RYCA kit bikes as well; I got a lot of my ideas from them....

Here's my VINTAGE ROADSTER build thread...
