I'm replacing the stock turn signal/running lights with 2-wire aftermarket signals with no running lights. So, the stock wiring has a black, a black with white stripe and a gray. Which one is ground and which of the other two do I ignore?

The one that blinks is signal.

Ordinarily, I'd figure it out by trial and error, but with the Ryca mod and the bar-end signals I'm using, the connections will end up tucked under the tank. Meanwhile, the tank is also connected to the ignition and idiot lights, so it's kind of a pain to be removing and replacing it. Oh, the price of being cool.
