If youre lousy with colors, get chips & lay them out together, visit with a painter, get a color wheel, lots of ways to know your choices wont look like crap together.

I've seen a few that were silver or gray that were stunning.

so I'd match the silver/gray that's on the checker.

I like silver or gray too, but the gold would be really nice as well.
I think that if you stick with any of the other colors that are already in the helmet it'll look good. After all, some geeky designer kid with a fancy college degree got paid big bucks to figure out how to match all the colors in that helmet...

I voted "OTHER" for the gold... Not to copy Buddah, but I do think a dark gold would be great with that brown... Besides, even HE is telling you to do it, and anyway your bobber will be a totally different bike.
