I contacted a mod and they suggested this.

OK, this is not the end of the world, but my profile picture dropped off and I can't figure out why.  i have tried to change my profile to add a picture, have posted pictures, even posted the one I wanted to be my profile pic and nothing works.

Can you tell me why?  Like I said, not the end of the world, I just hate to deprive you all of my beautiful face!

I am using facebook as my picture host, other pictures post.

Can anyone help?

Was the pic taken from face on or from the side? It may some truth in advertising thing, you know,, make sure its taken from the side.

Post your pic maybe something simple.
It could be the name.
Spaces sometimes causes issues.
Or a forbidden word.

ok, I think I see the problem, you got a typo or at least I can change something and it works...


I copied the location of your link and pasted it in, then changed the 's' to a colon ':'

BTW, this is a big pic, it will be compressed to much smaller one.  I don't know it will create a problem or not, but the avatar native size is closer to 300x300 I think.  Just something to be aware of if the compression isn't right.
