Anyone have headlight calibration tips?
11/21/11 at 12:09:13
So I just upgraded from the stock headlight bulb to a Xenon that I got for 1 cent + $2.99 shipping off of eBay, and I unscrewed the headlight adjustment screws quite a bit before I realized I had the wrong screws. Now I need to recalibrate it and I found this guide, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any easier ways before I go through the process of this site:
http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/howto/122_0310_headlight_aiming/index.html
I already know that the right screw is horizontal and the left is vertical (if you're facing the headlamp).

Park your bike 25' away from a wall at dusk. Put a couple of pieces of tape on the wall the same height as your headlight, in the shape of T. With your bike vertical, align the low beam so it's bright point is 6" below the horizontal tape line, and making sure the front wheel is pointing straight ahead, 6" to the right of the vertical piece of tape.
Your done.

I did just like the website said and boy was the guy next door mad when he came out and saw those lines on the side of his house.
