Then there's the matter of having a single big ass piston. You can only accelerate a mass so fast. The greater the mass, the slower the acceleration. Accelerate the piston up, accelerate the piston down, repeat. Thump thump thump... Now, if it was a 650cc 4-cylinder, you can accelerate those tiny pistons much faster and there's a greater chance of overrevving. Our engines are like tractors. Ever hear of anyone overrevving a tractor?

The problem with that piston is when its on exhaust,, & the piston is moving fast & thers no restriction,,
